How it started
OHS began in 1999. Since then it’s helped 529 Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard families at Christmas. The STEAK SUPPER event has had 4722 attendees from 1999-2019. The Del City Legion has hosted the event since 2012. The old Del City VFW building off of Sunnylane Blvd hosted the event from 2003 to 2011, and prior to that it was held on base at the Prime Beef building near the AF Reserve campus. The 137th ANG Wing joined OHS in 2008 and has been a major partner in the program ever since.

Raised: $44,727 ($601,592 all time).
Event attendees: 305 (5549 all time).
Families Helped: 13 (606 since 1999).
